Part Of The Crowd

Wake with this in my head:Everybody plays the fool sometimeThere's no exception to the ruleListen, babyIt may be factual, may be cruelI ain't lyingEverybody plays the fool

Had no idea what it meant for me as I began my day. That started with weighing myself, checking for weight loss. Then, immediately prepare my first of six meals. My weight's been down a bit lately, at a relative low.Gradually, I realized, playing the fool -I cater to the unpredictable whims of my disrupted body!Everybody plays the fool sometimeAnd I'm not alone in thatListen, babyHow universal are" the thousand natural shocks that flesh is heir to"may be factual, may be cruelBut we can look out over time, and realizeI ain't lying
