Where to find meaning

How much do we need, beyond how things appear, in order to find true meaning? We live within the current order, the outcome of history so far. We can make our way, shape some of our own life. But is there a vision for more and better, and how much does that differ from the current manifestation? And from where does such a vision come, if it did come, or could come? And how much do we feel it? From where does it come? The value of our commitments may truly fill our ability right now. And if we belong to a religious group, that seems to answer much of this. But if not, we likely try to piece things together. But will any collection of pieces ever be adequate? And where do we go for pieces? Science was never meant for this! I suggest, that one of the best spots for this, is our capacity for the depths of doubt. But that may require some time. And we may never finish….
