Their Spins Together

Overnight, we dropped below freezing for the first time this year. This morning, while still quiet, I looked out across the trees in our backyard. The still low sun lit everything from its morning angle, passing through the trees, freshly adorned in fall colors. Without wind, leaves were falling gently through the sun. They did their spins together on the way down.

Must be the effect of the freeze.
