Poems & Thoughts of Rob Taylor

Reading

I now recall the appeal of some books with new insight. The approach to a serious and respected author had an effect. With a depth of interest, and wanting to hear the view expressed,my own view would be paused,to await and allow the depictionof something potentially unfamiliar. There are various merits to many things thus received. But the pause itself, the opening for something new,had a richness and texture. The pause itselfwas something new,and remains so still, and is fitting for any moment. The curiosity for somethingoutside my familiar worldallows a new world to open.
