For My Pleasure

Eight AM, after heavy rain, looking through the window at a tall pine,I'm struck by a bunch of stars twinkling through the branches, mostly bright white, but also some shades of red. They sparkle and dance about the tree and entertain.

Certainly, there's no stars in the sky. There is also no source of light behind the tree. Then I realize that the low morning sun is behind me,and its light must be reflected off drops of water in the tree.Little movements create angles for the lightdirectly back at me,for my pleasure.
